Watch: Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui Shares Thoughts on Normani’s Reunion at ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Finale

The ballroom floor of *Dancing With the Stars* (DWTS) Season 34 finale on Nov.25 witnessed a heartwarming reunion between Fifth Harmony alums Lauren Jauregui and Normani, and Lauren couldn’t hide her enthusiasm about the moment. In an exclusive chat with E! News’ Will Marfuggi post-show, Lauren revealed she learned about Normani’s cameo a couple of days before the event—and was completely blown away by the performance. “Jordan’s freestyle was absolutely spectacular, and Normani always delivers every time she steps in front of the camera,” Lauren gushed. “Give her any performance chance, and she’ll own it entirely!”

Having been eliminated in week three of this season alongside partner Brandon Armstrong, Lauren felt a flood of emotions watching Normani (who finished third in Season24 with Val Chmerkovskiy) and Jordan Chiles shine like they deserved the Mirrorball Trophy. “The energy was incredible,” she added. “I loved seeing all my friends dance their hearts out and do such an amazing job tonight—it was truly magical.”

Jordan Chiles recently opened up about how Normani got involved in her finale freestyle routine. The Olympian shared that Normani first suggested, “I think I should be part of your freestyle” back in September. Jordan didn’t take it seriously until Normani’s manager reached out to confirm her sincerity. The routine, featuring Jordan’s song “Motivation” and Beyoncé’s “Bow Down,” was even hailed by judge Carrie Ann Inaba as the best freestyle she’s seen in DWTS’ 20-year history—a moment Jordan will cherish forever.

Lauren, who returned to the dance floor with Brandon during the finale, reflected on her time on the show. “For anyone in this experience, you want it to last as long as possible, but this was such a special journey for me,” she said. “I’m so thankful to have been here, met Brandon, and connected with all these wonderful people. The pros and fellow contestants mean so much to me—we’ve built a beautiful bond, and I’m really grateful for this unique experience that combines glitz, glam, dance, and great vibes.”

Jordan, who secured third place with pro dancer Ezra Sosa (behind runner-up Alix Earle and the winner), also shared her reflections. “I came into this season wondering what would happen and if I’d even make it to the finale,” she admitted. “So hearing people say my freestyle was one of the best ever means the world to me. After 11 weeks of dancing, this experience has given me a whole new perspective on life—we live in a world of diverse dreams and realities, and I can’t put into words how grateful I am to be part of this show.”
