Elle, the upcoming prequel series to Legally Blonde that premieres on Prime Video July 1, just dropped its first teaser trailer.

Omigod you guys, Elle Woods is back!
The teaser for Elle, to the 2001 classic Legally Blonde starring Reese Witherspoon, dropped on May 6, giving viewers a peek at the eponymous main character’s high school days.
Before Elle Woods went to Harvard Law School, she was a teenager in the ritzy Bel-Air neighborhood in Los Angeles. Set in 1995, Elle—played by newcomer Lexi Minetree—is living her best life, hanging out poolside with her besties.
That is, until her parents (June Diane Raphael and Tom Everett Scott) force her to pick up and move to Seattle, Washington, after her dad gets a new job. There, Elle struggles to fit in as she trades the California sunshine for gloomy Pacific Northwest rains.
In fact, Elle's signature pink wardrobe and golden hair sticks out among her new grunge-inspired peers, with the future lawyer telling her mom, “I’m feeling very blonde.”
Never one to back down from a challenge though, Elle turns to her trusty canine BFF Bruiser and says, “Wish me luck.”
Lucky for fans, they don’t have to wait too long to see more, as the series premieres on July 1 on Prime Video.
And no one is more excited than Reese, who serves as executive producer on Elle. When of herself, she admitted, "When I saw her tape, I was like, 'Are we the same person?'"
Later, Reese called up Lexi and her fellow castmates Chandler Kinney, Gabrielle Policano, Jacob Moskovitz and Zac Looker to reveal the premiere date, explaining “I'm just really emotional because 25 years ago, Legally Blonde came out in July. So, this will be the 25-year anniversary of Legally Blonde.
While the first season of Elle is still a few months away, Reese confirmed in January that the show has already been picked up for another season. According to the Big Little Lies star, Amazon executives “love the show so much they ordered a season two.”

U.S. Against The World: Four Years With The Men's National Soccer Team (HBO) - May 12
